Vacancy for a parish councillor to represent Park Ward

SPROTBROUGH & Cusworth Parish Council has announced a vacancy on the parish council for a councillor to represent the Park Ward following the death of councillor Norman Dent.

A bye-election to fill the vacancy will be held if within 14 days from 1st March 2009, ten electors for the ward/parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

The address for the Returning Officer is: Returning Officer, Electoral Services Unit, Copley House, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3EQ.

If no such notice is given, the parish council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
