Vacancies for two parish councillors to represent East Ward

SPROTBROUGH & Cusworth Parish Council has announced vacancies on the parish council for two councillors to represent the parish council's East Ward, following the disqualification of councillors Sheldon Ransome and Debbie Wood.

A bye-election will be held to fill the two vacancies if within 14 days from the 1st March 2010, ten electors for the ward/parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer.

The address for the Returning Officer is: Returning Officer, Electoral Services Unit, Copley House, Waterdale, Doncaster, DN1 3EQ.

If no such notice is given, the parish council will fill the two vacancies by co-option.
