Would you like to support Sarah’s charity climb?
My name is Sarah Graves.
I live in Sprotbrough and this coming summer, I and a group of others from Newcastle University will be setting off on our trek up the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro!
This is all in aid of the charity ‘DigDeep’. They work with schools and communities in rural Kenya to provide clean water and improved sanitation systems. Unlike many other charities, DigDeep don’t just install these services then leave the locals to it; they work to educate the people in these remote communities on the monitoring and maintenance of the facilities, as well as giving guidance on personal hygiene and cleanliness in an effort to reduce the number of illnesses and deaths to water borne diseases.
In order to do the climb, I need to raise a huge £2,
990. I will be taking part in and organising a number of fundraising events throughout the year. This is as part of my climbing team and as an individual with events going on at home here in Sprotbrough; but I simply won’t reach my target without kind donations from people like yourselves.
If you wish to donate, no matter how big or small the amount, it would be greatly appreciated and would push me one step closer to summiting Mount Kili. in September!
You can donate online via my ‘BT MyDonate’ page that can be found at this web address: http://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/sarahgraves1 …or via cash/cheque donations to be posted to my home address at 1 Brompton Road, Sprotbrough, DN5 7LB.
Many thanks in anticipation of your help, and wishing me and my team the best of luck!
