The parish council awards community grants for local good causes – find out more here
Every year Sprotbrough & Cusworth Parish Council awards a number of small grants to local good causes that benefit people living in the area we serve.
Just before the lockdown, the 28th Doncaster St Edmunds Scout Group were the latest to receive a grant to the tune of £620.
Parish Council Chair, Councillor David Holland, said: “The funding request from the scouts was unanimously supported by parish councillors and will give a big boost to their fundraising efforts. On behalf of the parish council, I would like to thank everyone involved with the 28th Doncaster St Edmunds for the great work you do with young people in our community.”
