TEMPORARY ORDER 2020
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that Doncaster Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering, proceeding or waiting in that length of Tennyson Avenue at Sprotbrough in the Doncaster Metropolitan District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works to repair carriageway are undertaken.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Sprotbrough Road, Anchorage Lane and vice versa.

The Proposed Order will continue in force up to and including the 17th day of January 2020 or until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
