DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES EXTENDING TO FRIDAY 17 APRIL 2020

Calling all budding graphic designers or graphic artists!

We are launching a competition to design a new Parish Council logo and we would like it to be designed by one of our young residents. The new logo will be used on our website, headed paper, Facebook page and anything else that needs our logo.

We’re looking for something that reflects our community and has a simple, modern but relevant theme. The parish includes the villages of Sprotbrough and Cusworth including the River Don, Sprotbrough Flash Nature Reserve and Cusworth Hall and Park. The parish boundary is below. Take your inspiration from our local history/heritage, architecture and the community groups and initiatives in Sprotbrough and Cusworth.

Don’t worry if you can’t draw, it’s the idea which is important, as we will take the idea and turn it into a professional looking logo. Try and design a logo, which will be recognisable for the parish council, but do not copy any existing logos – it has to be unique! Look at our website (www.sc-pc.co.uk) or Facebook page to see what we do, but whether its local history, geography, or a contemporary design – the basis for the idea is yours!
