Public consultation on proposed new Doncaster bus network
South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive is to run a public consultation into proposed changes to bus services in Doncaster, which will take place from 9 November until 18 December.
The proposals for Doncaster’s bus services are part of a package of local transport improvements drawn up in the Sheffield City Region Devolution Deal that includes establishing a Doncaster Bus Partnership.
Doncaster Bus Partnership brings together Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council, SYPTE and local bus operators. The Partnership’s proposed service changes aim to develop a coordinated and efficient bus network and offer a simplified and more attractively priced ticket range for the town, improving access to community, employment and training sites and other public transport modes.
