Message from South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive

Planned Outage – 16 – 27 January 2017
From Monday 16 January – Friday 27 January, South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive’s (SYPTE’s) Software Systems Provider will be carrying out planned replacement works on the servers at our Interchanges, Park & Ride sites and Information Kiosks.

The works are being rolled out at each site on the following dates, in order to minimise disruption to passengers:

What will this mean for our customers?

At the date of the replacement, the live departure information displayed at the site, as detailed above, will not be available.

For customers viewing this information via the Travel South Yorkshire website or at Information Kiosks in Interchanges, this information will not be available on the 16th January, but will be available to view as normal on 17 January.

Alternative sources of information will be available at each location, including paper timetables in the usual locations. Customer Service Ambassadors will also be on hand to offer travel planning advice, and will be able to access live departure information from individual operators’ websites if required.

How are we communicating with our customers?

· Signs will be placed at affected sites alerting customers to the outage, and informing of the alternative information available
· A news story has been created on the Travel South Yorkshire website, and can be found at . This news page can also be accessed through a scrolling banner on the website’s home page
