Sprotbrough & Cusworth Parish Council activities: update Thursday 2 July 2020

Following recent Government announcements and guidance we are taking steps to reopen the Goldsmith Centre for hirers. All existing hirers will be contacted over the next week to discuss the new requirements and measures we are taking to ensure all users can be guaranteed a safe and sanitised environment in which to return and access our facilities. The Outdoor Gym, Adventure Playground at New Lane and Play areas at the Goldsmith Centre will remain closed until further notice and should not be used. This is to enable measures be put in place to ensure safe use of the areas. As soon as we can open these facilities safely we will do so however the safety of users is our paramount concern. The playground at Anchorage Lane is nearing completion with the fencing remaining in place to allow the turf to establish and the highways works to be completed. A final safety inspection will be undertaken before it can be opened to the public.

 

Anchorage Pavilion, Newlands Pavilion and sports pitches remain closed until further notice.
