Sprotbrough’s Neighbourhood Development Plan has been submitted to Doncaster Council for consideration and there’s an opportunity for local people to make comments as well. Details below.

Notification of the submission of the Sprotbrough Neighbourhood Development Plan and supporting documents to Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council for examination under Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

 

Regulation 16 Publicity

Following the completion of the Regulation 14 pre-submission consultation and publicity on their Neighbourhood Plan, Sprotbrough Parish Council have submitted the Sprotbrough Neighbourhood Development Plan and associated documents to the Local Planning Authority at Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council for examination under Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

As a consultee that is referred to in the accompanying consultation statement I am notifying you (in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended)) of the submission. All the documents can be viewed on the Doncaster Council website via the link:

Under current circumstances, the Sprotbrough Neighbourhood Development Plan and submitted documentation can only be inspected online.  Sprotbrough Library is offering limited PC access but you must phone and book a computer before you visit. Opening hours areMonday 11.00am- 2.00pm,  Wednesday 3.00pm – 6.00pm Friday 11.00am – 2.00pm (face masks must be worn at all times when accessing the library).

Representations are invited on the Plan and associated documents and can be submitted in one of the following ways:

If this is not possible, you can write and post or hand deliver to us at: Local Plans Team, Planning Services, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster DN1 3BU (an out of hours a post-box is available to the rear of the building)

Representations on the Plan may include a request to be notified of the Local Planning Authority’s decision under Regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 on the plan proposal (whether to make or to refuse to make the Neighbourhood Development Plan).

 

The closing date for the submission of representations is 7th October 2020.

Unfortunately, after a check by Doncaster Council’s playground equipment inspector, we have had to temporarily remove the aerial runway swing due to a faulty bolt on the frame. It has gone off for repair and will be back as soon as the work is completed.
